Obituary for Yvonne Hicks
Marina Iris “ Yvonne” Hicks
1937-2019
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marina Iris "Yvonne" Hicks. Born on Indian Islands to Harvey and Vera (Collins) Frampton, Vonnie, as she was known by her family, spent her adult life in Gander where she married Roy Hicks in 1961 and raised a family of four children on MacDonald Drive. She was a faithful member of St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral Parish. She was a true servant of God and took immerse pleasure in time spent with her family.
Predeceased by her parents, husband Roy, and brothers Allan and Earl. Left to mourn with fond memories are her four loving children: Harvey, Elaine (Len Fry), Glenn (Rev. Lisa Payne), and Elizabeth (Bernie Norris); nine grandchildren of whom she was very proud: Jared & James Hicks-Kopalie, Roy (Stephanie) & Emily (Brad) Moore, Jenna (David) & Jack Hicks, Casey Hancock, Joel & Sydney Quinton; sisters Florence Newman (Rex) and Marjorie Vatcher (Isaac); and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home , Gander, visitations from 2pm to 4pm , and 7pm to 9pm Friday November 8th ,2019. 10am to 12pm on Saturday November 9th, 2019 . Funeral service at 2pm from St Martins Anglican church in Gander..Flowers greatly excepted or donation can be made to a charity of ones choice.
