April 10, 1940 – September 28, 2019
Barton Green passed peacefully away on September 28th at James Paton Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by his loving wife Loretta, parents Albert and Pearl and brothers Wilfred and Stanley. Bart leaves to mourn his daughters Lisa (Charles),and Nancy (Graham), Granddaughter Sara (Christian) and great grandchildren Cohen and Sophia as well a large circle of extended family and friends. A very special thank-you to his full time caregiver, Dora, you have a special place in our hearts. Sincere thanks to the workers from Compassion Care. Thank you to Dr. Casey, Lillian Paul and Greg Banfield for their care and support. On behalf of the Green family we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dunk and Dianne for their love, friendship and dedication. Cremation has taken place in keeping with Bart's wishes there will be visitation at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Monday September 30th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A small funeral service for family and friends will take place on October 1st at 11:00 am at Stacey's Funeral Home. Interment to follow at all Saints Cemetery.
