Condolences

Condolence From: Gail W.
Condolence: We are shocked and deeply saddened by the sudden loss of my very special cousin. May his beloved wife Christine and son Evan find comfort and healing over time with special memories and in the knowledge he is reunited with lost loved ones until they meet again.

Condolence From: Graham Smith
Condolence: Christine and family.
I was shocked to hear of Tony's sudden passing. We haven't crossed paths much since the Barnes house days, but I considered him a friend. Lots of memories have been going through my mind this last week! After recently becoming a Facebook friend of his, I feel like we have been catching up! Please accept my condolences.
I will be praying for you.

Condolence: Christine, Evan, and Family- I'm deeply saddened to hear of Tony's sudden passing. I had the great pleasure of working with Tony over the past few years in Commercial Banking. Tony is one of the kindest people I have ever known. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was always up for a good laugh. I looked forward to our daily chats, emails, and visits. If we went a couple of days without talking he would always check in to make sure his "buddy"was doing okay. He was a true family man and spoke about Christine and Evan with such love and admiration.
Our last call was a few days before he passed. I was leaving for vacation so I would miss his visit to St. John's for "his boys" convocation. We spoke for a long time about "his boy", I can honestly say a father has never been more proud of a son for his accomplishments. We also spoke about traveling and the time he spent in Venice with his cherished Christine. He gave me some great travel tips and wished me safe travels. I spent the day of his passing in Venice doing all the things he told me to do and telling my husband and friends all about Tony.
Tony truly lived every single day to the fullest and was loved by all! Please accept my deepest sympathies and prayers during this difficult time.

Condolence From: Christine Clouston
Condolence: Evan,

I read about the passing of your Father in today's Telegram, and I am still in shock. So sad, and such a huge and sudden unexpected loss.
I worked with your Father many years ago, and enjoyed every call, email, and get-together.
In recent years, I got to know you at MUN. I proudly watched you walk across the stage with your Bachelor of Commerce degree in hand. Your years at MUN have matured into a fine young man. I know your Father was extremely proud of you.
So very sorry for your loss of a great Dad.
A life taken too soon.
Christine Clouston

Condolence From: Cathy and Jeff
Condolence: Christine, Evan, Patti, Gerri and families,
So thankful to know Tony's zest for life, infectious smile, teasing sense of humour, sense of adventure, photography (Photos by Foote as Jeff says), love of music, quiet strong natural leadership and his unconditional sense of love and life. Like Barry said in his tribute, his circles in life were many and growing, always adding individuals in without ever subtracting. A fitting service indeed with the support of Rev. Steph, the music and Choir, Masons, friend Barry's tribute, readings by friends Brent and Chris, and Evan's message, carrying with strength like his father. Thinking of you all.

Condolence: So shocked to learn of this sad news. My condolences to Tony's family and all of his friends. I'm left with memories of a very kind fellow who from a young age when we sometimes played together was always accepting, kind, and friendly to others - even from the other side of the field :). My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence From: Paul Hoskins
Condolence: I was shocked and saddened when I heard about Tony's sudden passing. I will remember Tony most as an original member of the Brochen Street gang. Tony grew up with a large group of friends who could count on him to be in the mix, whether it be to play with the street hockey team, go for day long bicycle adventures, or explore the local frog ponds. We had a great childhood. I have met with Tony only a few times over the years since moving away from Gander but each time seemed as though we still lived just a few houses apart. Please accept my deepest condolences for a true friend and a great citizen of Gander. Sincerely, Paul Hoskins
