Condolence: Muriel and family We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Bert. We lived across the street from Bert many years ago. Bert always had a smile on his face and very pleasant. It was very nice you both went to visit my parent's open house on their 50th Anniversary years ago. Hope the memories will help at this difficult time. Thinking of you.

Condolence From: Wayne & Marie Burry
Condolence: To Muriel, Wayne and Dion. Words cannot express the sadness Wayne I felt this morning as we read about the passing of Bert. He was a man with very high integrity, loved by many and respected by all. Never had a negative comment about anyone, but always had such a sweet smile. I will always remember Bert when I had my Mom home from the hospital and we had a big snow storm in Gander. Bert looked after her as he helped her on the airplane in a special chair. He looked after her until the flight left. He was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He will be missed by his family and friends. Love and prayers from Marie and Wayne

Wayne this loss brings back a flood of great memories of growing up and spending a lot of time at your home. Your Dad always knew when we were up to no good often staying awake all night. Condolence: I was sooo saddened to hear of Bert's passing last night. He was one of the most incredible people I have ever met. He was such an encouraging and uplifting person. We often talked about our love for choclate and how much we enjoyed it. It was like we were kindred spirits when we would share conversations about it. I will miss our talks about our sweets but one thing is for sure is that Heaven's sweeter with you there. I also remember how proud you were to help count the money from the Christmas kettles and talked soo much about all the coppers you had counted. I will miss you and our chats and laughs together. You have really exceeded the coppers now as you are walking the streets of gold in Heaven! I can only imagine the glow on your face as you marvel at the things around you. I will miss you very much my friend but these memories will always remain in my heart forever.
